Persian short film heading to Bangladesh

Iranian short film ‘The Hose’, directed by Mansour Forouzesh, will be screened at the International Children’s Film Festival in Bangladesh.

 

‘The Hose’ is a 15-minute movie narrating the story of a dumb child. Produced and directed by Forouzesh in 2014, it stars Sirous Hemmati and Kasra Jourablou.

The film is experiencing its seventh presence in international events. It was earlier screened at New Directors/New Films Festival in Portugal. It was also nominated for Best Short Film at an International Short Film Festival in India, according to IRNA.

International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh, an annual event held countrywide, showcases full length features, shorts, experimental films made for and by children.

Sponsored by Bangladesh Association of Children and UNICEF, the festival will be held from January 24 to 30, 2015.
